The Poison Plant Series
Communication, Shadow Work, Expression, & Healing: Learn shamanic ways to work with five specific poisonous plants.
Class begins Saturday, April 22nd at 7:00 pm EST.
A five-part class series with Vivian Dickinson.
Communication, Shadow Work, Expression, & Healing
The plants discussed in this series are Mandrake, Henbane, Datura, Bittersweet Nightshade, and Poppy. Each class will be dedicated to a poisonous plant and it’s uses for healing, shadow work, and magic, as well as a brief history on the plant and lore.
We will discuss how to grow and build a relationship with each plant, as well as how the plant can appeal to and heal the parts of our shadow selves that barley reach the light of day.
The concept of this series is more than just learning about the magical ways of working with each plant; it's about knowing and growing a relationship and understanding how, as we help them grow and build a better environment, that they will also help us do the same. That it is not just about using the physical parts of a plant to help heal us, but also understanding how the spirits and energetic make up of a plant can help us heal ourselves, inside and out.
This class has been a long time coming. The concept of healing the darkness within ourselves and growing to understand it better as opposed to covering it up and pushing it away, along with the help of the spirit realm and plant spirits with us now, is something I have been pushed to teach for a very long time. This is the true work of a Plant Charmer.
At the end of every class you will be able to access the handout that will have all of the information we went over, as well as exercises and a spirit journey to try with each plant spirit. You are not required to bring anything to the classes except maybe a pen and notepad.
If you already have a relationship with the plants we will be learning from then you are more than welcome to have the plant or pieces of it or even a picture. If you do not, however, already work with one of them, then I do not advise having some of the plant with you because they are still poisonous and we need to learn to work with them carefully and respectfully, but a picture is perfectly fine either way.
I am so very excited about this and I hope you all are, too.
As a disclaimer I have to say that some of the topics gone over are for informational purposes only, as I am not a doctor. If you are in need of care and treatment please contact a medical professional.
Each class will be 1 hour long through Zoom. The course will be held on
Saturday, April 22nd, 29th, May 6th, 13h, and 20th at 7:00 pm (EST).
Each class will be recorded and made available in your Zinzeudo University account. If you join the course after the first class is held, you can review the recorded classes before the next live class.
